Biography

Greetings! My name is Emma Thomas, and I was born in Rockford, Illinois, then moved to Tooele, Utah, in eighth grade. In high school I played clarinet in Band and participated in school plays. I earned a Theatre degree from Southern Utah University, with a minor in Graphic Design, and then went back to school, getting my Elementary Education degree at Utah State University.

I've been teaching fifth grade at AAA since the beginning, having previously taught four years at other schools. In addition to teaching fifth grade at AAA, I'm also the Drama Club director. In my free time, I participate in community theatre productions, both onstage and backstage helping with costumes, and I enjoy dressing up in cosplay for conventions.

Participating in the arts was always my favorite part of going to school, and I treasure the opportunity to share that love with my students
