Biography

Hi, my name is Jennifer Evans and I am excited to make a fun change at Advantage Arts Academy. I am from Salt Lake City, although I attended Kinder and first grade, and then eleventh and twelfth grade in La Paz, Bolivia. I received a Bachelor of Film Studies degree and a minor in Spanish from the University of Utah. I’m almost finished with a Master of Curriculum and Instruction degree from Weber State University. I have been in education for almost ten years. This will be my fourth year at Advantage Arts Academy. 

I have a true passion for working with students who learn in many different ways. I believe that children love to learn, explore, create, move and grow.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.

Personally, I have been married for 27 years and have four children, one of which is married and has made me a grandma two times. I love life and human beings.
