Jennifer Heywood
4th Grade Teacher
Hi, friends! My name is Mrs. Heywood and I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade. I grew up in Hawai’i on the island of Kaua’i and in 2021 my husband and I spontaneously lived in Orlando, Florida because we love the warm weather and Disney so much!
After I graduated from Skyline High School, I attended Utah State University. In 2017, I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in American Sign Language. I graduated from USU with a Master’s Degree in Deaf Education in 2018.
Together with my husband, we love to travel to new places and explore all the sites they have to offer. Some of our favorite places we have traveled to are Sun Valley, San Francisco, Portland, and Cancun! I absolutely love penguins, the color green, and going to Starbucks for an Iced Chai Latte. I enjoy reading, baking, quilting, and learning new things.
