Biography

Hello, I’m Janel Preusz, and I grew up in the scenic landscapes of Pennsylvania. I come from a small, tight knit community, and that community feel is what I love creating in my classroom.

I embarked on my educational adventure by attending BYU-Idaho, earning a degree in early childhood education and early childhood special education. I’ve had the privilege of nurturing minds in various capacities, from kindergarten to first grade and special education for the past 16 years. Witnessing the growth and curiosity of my students has been the most rewarding aspect of my career.

Beyond the classroom, I treasure time spent with my wonderful husband and two amazing children. They bring joy, balance, and inspiration to my life.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a nurturing environment for academic and personal growth. I know that this can be accomplished when parents, teachers, and students work as a team. Together, we’re building a legacy of learning and discovery.
