Back in the 60's in a faraway land, I was the firstborn daughter to a sweet artistic mother and a loud funny father. We moved to New Jersey when I was six. I had to learn and add English to the Spanish and Italian languages we spoke at home. I grew up in a wonderful small town next to Hopatcong Lake, NJ. My sister and I loved to swim all summer and ice skate all winter. I graduated, went off to college, and to work. I grew up in Finance and Banking but Education continued to be my passion. I finally made the jump to teaching full time in 2013, earning a master's degree in 2014. I have had many roles in education but being a classroom teacher is my favorite. I love visual arts and knowing I can combine both of my loves into a work day, makes me a happy person every day.
