Hello, my name is Kelli McBride! After relocating from Idaho to Utah, I am thrilled with the amazing opportunities that have come my way! I am delighted to be teaching drama at AAA! As a dedicated educator with a deep passion for theater and the arts, our school is the perfect fit! Before retiring, I spent many years teaching 5th and 6th grade. I absolutely love sharing my enthusiasm for teaching and the magic of live theater with our students. Truly, it’s the best of both worlds. Through theater arts programs, students gain confidence, develop collaboration skills, and discover their own creative potential. It is truly an honor to share these experiences with your children!
In addition to classroom teaching, I also served as the director of Spark Afterschool, a 21st Century Community Learning Centers Afterschool Program, where I played a pivotal role in providing enriching educational experiences for students beyond the school day.
With over two decades of experience directing youth theater, I am the founder of Southern Idaho Youth Theatrics (SIYT), a thriving organization that continues to flourish 14 years after its inception.
Apart from my professional life, I enjoy painting, taking walks at the lake with my pup, volunteering for Salt Lake county’s five theaters, and supporting community theater with new friends. Above all, I cherish my role as a mother and Nana—my two children and my grandson are the center of my world.
