Hello! My name is Liseth Torres, and I am thrilled to be starting my fifth school year as a Multilingual Learner (MLL) assistant here at Advantage Arts Academy! I love helping our diverse learners grow, thrive, and express themselves creatively every single day.

I graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development and a minor in Psychology. My passion for working with children truly blossomed during my college years, where I spent meaningful time volunteering for Child Life at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Though I grew up in sunny California, I made the exciting move to Salt Lake City in 2016 and have loved calling Utah home ever since. Outside of school, my world revolves around my wonderful family. I have been happily married for 10 years, and we are blessed with an energetic set of twins—a boy and a girl! Together, we love exploring new places, traveling, or simply cozying up at home for fun family movie nights. I am looking forward to another amazing year of learning and creating memories with your students!
