Mandi Tull

6th Grade Teacher

My name is Mandi Tull. While I have been teaching since dinosaurs roamed the earth, this is my first year at Advantage Arts. I started my career in Utah back in the 90’s, just after I graduated from BYU. Life has led me all over the world since then, but I’m finally back where it all started! The focus on integrating the arts with every subject fascinates me, and I look forward to finding fun ways to do just that with language arts and social studies in sixth grade.

I grew up in California with my heart set on teaching. I have taught most grades between 3rd and 8th, with a focus on 6th and 7th for the last decade. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. My husband and I moved back to Utah in January and are enjoying all the beauty that is here. We also have two grown children currently attending college, one on the west coast and one on the east coast.

My favorite thing about teaching is the chance to constantly learn. I love dissecting language, appreciating cultures, and applying what I learn to my own life. This passion for knowledge and understanding is what I hope to pass along to each student.
