My name is Megan Morris. This will be my eleventh year of teaching! I have taught four years in third grade, now six years in second grade, and one year in long term substitute positions in New York state.

Beyond the classroom, my interests span from reading, learning to cook new recipes for my family, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, video games, and exercising.

I believe that the arts are integral to our happiness and learning, and I implement these passions into my teaching style. Teaching isn't just a profession for me; it's a lifelong calling that took root way back in fifth grade. I choose to be a teacher who sees the whole student, nurturing not only their academic growth but also their self-esteem and love for learning. For me, learning should be an exciting adventure eagerly awaited each day, fostering an environment where students thrive and discover the joy of knowledge.

I am always excited to witness my students learn and grow each year. Together, we'll make learning an experience to cherish and remember.
