Hello! My name is Natalie Ruesch, and I am the K–2 Special Education Teacher at Advantage Arts Academy. I am so excited to be part of the AAA community!

I graduated from Western Governors University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. While completing my degree, I worked as a special education paraeducator, which is where I developed my love for special education and ultimately decided to pursue dual licensure. I also have experience teaching in a general education classroom and enjoy building relationships with students and finding different ways to make learning accessible for every learner. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive classroom where students feel comfortable learning, growing, and being themselves.

Outside of school, I enjoy live music, going to sporting events, especially soccer, and spending time with my husband, friends, and family.
