I’m Rachael Wheelwright, and I’m proud to serve as the school social worker at Advantage Arts Academy. This is my third year at AAA, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a community committed to supporting children.

As the school counselor, my primary mission is to support students and empower them to thrive at school. I partner with children and families, offering guidance, encouragement, and resources to help young learners navigate academic or personal challenges with confidence.

I have a Bachelor of Social Work from Utah State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Hawai’i. I have been a social worker for 20+ years.

Whether surfing in the ocean, exploring nature trails, or cozying up with a good book, I believe in maintaining balance and joy in life outside of work. I embrace opportunities to explore new places and experiences, often shared with my husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs. 

I look forward to collaborating with students, families, and fellow educators to help every child flourish at Advantage Arts Academy.
