When is it too sick for school?

Health Reminder for Families

If your student has experienced a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, they may return to school once they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without the use of medication.

We kindly ask families to use their best judgment when deciding if a child is ready to return to school. You know your child best—if you feel they may not be able to comfortably participate in the school day, please keep them home to rest and recover.

Recordatorio de Salud para Familias

Si su estudiante ha presentado fiebre, vómitos o diarrea, podrá regresar a la escuela una vez que haya estado asintomático durante al menos 24 horas sin tomar medicamentos.

Solicitamos a las familias que utilicen su criterio al decidir si su hijo está listo para regresar a la escuela. Ustedes conocen mejor a su hijo; si consideran que no podrá participar cómodamente en la jornada escolar, por favor, manténgalo en casa para que descanse y se recupere.
